The accommodations were spotlessly clean, and the location couldn't be better, perfectly situated for exploring the historic Abbey, fascinating museums, and charming pubs. The breakfast was a real highlight, delicious! We will wholeheartedly recommend this guest house and are certainly planning our return trip."

"We had a great time staying in this lovely house. It's really well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We are a family of five and there was plenty of room in the lounge for us all to sit together on the big settee. The house is situated in a great location, near to the town, not far from the seafront, just great for walking anywhere really. There's a parking space at the house, which is a big bonus. We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely stay again.

"Beautiful apartment. Great location, fun to see the trains right by your window, excellent secure underground garage parking. Highly recommended. We also visited Eden Camp, Alpamare water park and had a walk up to Whitby Abbey. These were all fantastic locations to visit. Lovely part of the country."

"Lovely clean and neatly compact cottage, hidden away in an ideal location for Whitby town and harbour/beach amenities. Communication with the owner was top class and prompt replies, nothingvwas too much trouble. My family had a very relaxing time at the property, my 3 teenage boys would definately return again with us. Lovely sunny weather too made morning coffee on the front a great start to our daily adventures.

"Penny Farthing Cottage was a lovely place to spend our holiday in Whitby. The house is immaculate and very nicely, and recently renovated. We all had a really nice time and loved staying there.

"Recently refurbished clean property with sea view. Great location. Short walking distance to town. Scratch card available in room which provided free residential parking for the majority of our stay. Hosts / owners very informative. Keep in view, need to provide ID and purchase accidental cover separately. In our opinion double bed needs replacing. Otherwise good value for money and recommend a stay here."

"Great weekend in Mallard Cottage. Had everything we needed and really comfortable beds. Close to the harbour and restaurants. Loved Pescado Lounge and great fish and chips at Abbey Wharf on the balcony overlooking the harbour. Will definitely back for a return visit! "

Great location to access the town and lots of free parking during the off-season.
Possibly not suitable for those with mobility issues as property as accessible via 3 flights of stairs.

"Fantastic stay, the decor in the cottage is very tasteful and it was very comfortable. Fantastic location too close the beach and restaurants. Fantastic view of the steps and abbey from the third bedroom.
The only downside is the stairs are very steep and are a concern for children. We told ours not to use them at night (they are 6 and 8 years) and to shout for us."

"It was amazing from start to finish. The apartment had everything that we needed, including an information pack full of knowledge and recommendations of the area.
It was in a great location, close to all amenities, also with fantastic views.
Would definitely recommend and stay again!"
