"room was lovely and modern, unfortunately was a long walk to the room due to renovation works across the entire floor. Location was great, easy to get to the NEC from there with uber. Food was low point, very expensive and honestly the steak looked like a small burger in size and the mushy peas on the fish and chips looked like a snot smear on the bottom of the plate. Ended up eating elsewhere for rest of stay. "

"It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely. The area is stunning. "The rooms were clean, although there was a noticeable smell throughout, possibly from cleaning products or the carpets. Otherwise everything was great. The room was tidy, the breakfast was fresh and hot, and the staff were very helpful."

"A basic but clean room, ideal for the purpose of getting an early morning flight or arriving back into Birmingham after the last train. Bed sheets didn’t quite fit the bed but were clean. Hotel bar / food area was rammed, maybe an oversight on the hotel designers part, more than adequate for most hotels but reflective of the lack of other amenities. "We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always happy to help and made us feel genuinely welcome. The room was comfortable, spotless, and wonderfully quiet—perfect for a relaxing night’s sleep. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into creating a peaceful and enjoyable environment for guests. "Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...
