"Good Customer Service, room was nice and clean"

"We stayed here in May of 2026 and had a great time. The property has excellent security but not too "in your face." The room was very clean, the water pressure perfect, and the beds are extremely comfortable. There are two restaurants at the hotel, an Irish pub and one serving Asian cuisine, both very good. (There is also small Target and a large Whole Foods Market that are about a 7 or 8 minutes walk away if you feel like cooking or just want to stock up on snacks.) And of course there other restaurants in walking distance. Speaking of the neighborhood - hotel is at the beginning of the museum district, you can walk to the Ben Franklin Institute, the Rodin Museum, the Barnes Collection, the Philadelphia Art Museum, and the main branch of the library which is like a museum. All are dazzling - actually a little overwhelming! Back to the hotel be sure to check out the rooftop pool and terrace, we got some beautiful photos and found it a peaceful way to end the day. Most of all a shout out to the staff. From the greeting when we drove up to the man who assisted us in packing the car as we left everyone was friendly and professional. The restaurant servers were helpful and knowledgeable. There were a few minor issues in our room that Engineering immediately fixed. The front desk staff was friendly, patient with our questions, and in general went above and beyond for us. Thanks to all for a great stay in a great city."

"The power in the hotel was out and I had to wear I would have downtown down in the lobby before they got the front desk came back then I get in the room there was no ice on the available to be used for my drinks then there was no remote to the TV in my room so I had to keep going back down to the front desk I will not let nobody stay at this hotel it's not a good place to stay"

"This is a sole proprietor business in an old residence. Our room was the only one with an en suite bathroom. It was comfortable and quiet. The owner/manager was there when we arrived and was most gracious and helpful. The room would benefit from more good hangers in the closet and a full length mirror in the bedroom. Some snacks and water were provided. This is a good value alternative, but anyone needing more ammenties should pay more at a chain. Parking was on street and free. We had breakfast at a Starbucks, a short drive away."

"Parking was easy. The bed was really uncomfortable and way too soft. My husband and I sank to the middle. They need to replace these old beds. We stayed one night and that was good enough. There was no soap in the bathroom and they couldn’t find any anywhere in the hotel. Then the front desk guy somehow found one bar. It was odd. This place was clean though so that was a plus "

"My stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Philadelphia Bala Cynwyd was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Every single staff member I encountered was professional, welcoming, and genuinely kind. It truly made the experience stand out. The property itself is top-tier, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. I felt safe throughout my entire stay, which made it even more relaxing. The facilities offered plenty of space to walk, sit, read, and simply enjoy the beautiful views. Breakfast was another highlight, hot, fresh, and a perfect way to start the day. I want to give a special shoutout to Ed, the Building Engineer. He was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond with his kindness. It’s not often you come across someone so attentive and personable, and he made a lasting impression. I would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the area. I will definitely be back!"
