"One of our most favourite hotels ever - the staff is so helpful. The breakfast selection was incredible (you can choose between American or Japanese breakfast) and kids eat for free.
Rooms are spacious, we were able to open up 3 of our large suitcases. You can use a laundromat about a 5 mins walk away or you can use their laundry service which they charge per item."

"The room was clean and the room amenities, such as razor, slippers, ear buds, hair ties, etc were plenty and ready, but it would have been nice to have some lotion as well. Did not get to use the pajamas, but I will try at ourr next APA hotel. My main issue with this property is that the room was quite small for the king sized bed and the bathroom was the smallest I've seen in Japan so far."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We loved the atmosphere of the hotel, it felt like a good in between of a hotel and a ryokan. Then Onsen was amazing, I highly recommend going when they first open to avoid crowds during peak hours. The beds were probably my biggest complaint, they were not the most comfortable but they were not bad either. We did not have any of the food at the restaurant, we always went somewhere local. It’s a 5 minute walk from the Kyoto train station and there is a bus...
