Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for.
Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi just dropped me off on the main road because cars can’t access the small streets. Once you know where it is, it’s super simple to return to"
"Loved the property so much that we stayed twice. Excellent customer service. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and we had no issues while staying here. I would recommend staying here as it is close to the market and local attractions. Wifi was strong and the staff allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours while we explored the city after check out. "
"The hotel is very new next to the new stadium sports complex which is one year old.
There was some problems with the shower door and safe but the staff quickly moved us to another room.
Breakfast and room service were very good.
The shower has excellent strong water pressure and air cons work very well.
You have to get a taxi into the centre of stone town which will cost you USD15 each way, but it is worth for the convenience of being away from the hustle and bustle - it was peaceful. "

Location is great, no night clubs / chickens crowing next door so quiet. I didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on food (so many choices within a 5-10 min walk).
This is not a luxury hotel like a Hyatt or Serena. Instead it’s bursting with Stone Town character, amazing location, nice bed and bathroom with lovely staff. Will stay again and willing to pay a little more. "

"For the price this location is great. It’s in Stonetown and walkable to all the touristy stuff and restuatants. They had tuk tuks available everywhere but I feel like you can really just walk where you need to go since everything is so close. I loved how welcoming everyone was and willing to accommodate me. "Safari House had plenty of space for our family of five. While not in the heart of Stone Town, it wasn't a far walk (10 min) to get there. Romaine, our host, was quite accommodating. The power and water shut off in the morning and he was over immediately to fix it (we didn't realize it was on a timer and was an easy fix). He also allowed us to store our luggage there after checkout time while we went out for a bit before our flight home. "
