"This was such a lovely spot to stay. A very authentic and peaceful Ryokan experience in a beautiful setting. The room was much larger than I expected with a relaxing forest outlook. The staff were very helpful and accomodating, providing a lovely breakfast of pastries and even a lift up to the train with our luggage when we left. "Outstanding value and ambiance. The dinner and breakfast were equally excellent in quality and quantity. The property is somewhat secluded but it makes for a very peaceful retreat. There is a great brewery just a 10 min walk down the road."

"Quiet, clean, modern and family friendly property. Good location, near subway and bus station to access attractions in the area within very reasonable amount of time. Property has plenty of space with private dry sauna and hot spring tub for convenient access. Wish that we have abundance of time to spend and enjoy this property. "Fabulous hotel styled after western (British) hotels of the 1800s. Thorough restoration from 2018-2020 has brought the hotel back to its glory days. Food and drinks in the hotel are pricey and nothing to get excited about. Hotel itself was amazing."

"The photos do not do it justice. This house is immaculate! I love the smell of new construction. Every room was nicely done, super clean, full amenities, everything you'd need to be comfortable. An easy 8-10 min walk from the train station even with rolling our carry on luggage. The 7-11 store is about a 3 min walk. There are about 2-3 bus stops very close to the house depending on which route you're heading to. This was a good base to stay for the Hakone loop. We walked to the Open Air Museum...
