"An incredible stay at the SANA Sesimbra. My room faced the beach, complete with a balcony. The room itself has a gorgeous midcentury modern hardwood bed with nightstand built-ins, and there is a matching built-in wardrobe, giving the space an elevated, timeless vibe. What really blew me away was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. "Spa was not a spa, a tired swimming pool no access to any other facilities without paying more. How on earth this has won awards us beyond me. Lifts were horrific- card system meant waiting up to 20 minutes to simply go downstairs. Breakfast was great and most of the staff were friendly and helpful, some very poor greetings at breakfast by female employees who could not be bothered and challenged me on my room number ‘ stating I must be wrong’. "My wife and I had a lovely stay here. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was a good size and had a good view over the gardens and river. The staff were wonderful and the service was excellent. The food was first class. The hotel is in a quiet area and a little removed from the shops, museums etc but that was fine for us. "

"I had a great stay at the hotel, close to beach and nice areas to go around, cleand with all amenities, excellent staff, if you planning to hang around in the beach area or beaches nearby is a great option, its not so close to Lisbon City, but an 20-25min uber ride and will be ok"

"Große und moderne Zimmer - alle mit Blick auf den großen Garten und teilweisen Meerblick. Gute Frühstücksauswahl. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir unsere 1-jährige Tochter gab es einen Spielplatz und Kinderpool. Das Hotel Restaurant ist super und zusätzlich gibt es viele weitere Restaurants in der direkten Umgebung. Wir kommen wieder!"

"Breakfast was bad. Eggs were old, mushrooms were cold, sausage had bones in it, I tried to order fried eggs and was told by a very rude waitress they could not make fried eggs. It was almost like we were an inconvenience to the restaurant staff. Front desk enployees were above and beyond hospitable. They are the amazing grace of the hotel!"

"Rooftop bar and snack shack were a treat. Rooftop outdoor pool is a good size but wasn’t heated so we couldn’t enjoy it during our April stay. That said, we did take advantage of the poolside lounge chairs to relax in the sun. With so many restaurants and cafes in the area, we chose to have our breakfast elsewhere so can’t speak to the quality. Most importantly, our room was spacious, modern, comfortable and clean."
