i had stayed here in the past and loved it. This time, i got to revisit the hotel. I cannot really complain since i got a very affordable nightly rate include breakfast which was quite a steal indeed, however due to covid measures, the hotel has just recently reopened and the hotel undergoes massive renovation and i believe they did not have time to clean the room and the public space thoroughly. I could find specs of dust lying around in the corner of the room and bed side lamps as well as the dirty hallways too. The breakfast variety has dropped significantly in terms of quality and quantity too. I definitely cannot blame their effort to reduce cost. But the food has become more into "local taste" and the variety is very disappointing. All in all, it was definitely quite a steal to stay in a 5 star hotel despite its shortcomings in quality. You get what you pay for, i guess. cannot complain.
