"I travel to Liverpool every month and stay in this hotel regularly. It’s normally fine but my meal last night in the restaurant was one of the worst i have ever experienced. I decided to treat myself to a ribeye steak. It costs £48 so definitely was a treat. It was dreadful. Horrifically over cooked, so much so that I sent it back which I never do. The waiter agreed that it was badly cooked. Took them 20 mins to cook another steak which was even worse than the original one. Over-cooked and...

"discounted upgrade request sent via the hotel and we accepted but when we arrived we were told the upgrade system wasn't working and we quickly dismissed, and told no discounts available. Reception not so customer focused and friendly. Ordered cocktails the bar was empty and took 25 minutes to make !. The hotel is very compact and not much space at breakfast, felt quite claustrophobic. Overall disappointing but it didn't spoil our night away."

"Hotel has a very good location to get to most of the main attractions of the city walking. It is a budget hotel and it’s reflected in the included breakfast offered at the hotel which isn’t great for people with allergies or food intolerance as they don’t offer many options. Staff is attentive and helpful. The bar is alright but I wouldn’t spend my time drinking there considering how many other cool bars are in the city."
