"Love this hotel. They have remodeled it since last we stayed. Looks great. Issues. The bathroom in the lobby. Someone broke the door off the stall. Not sure how long it was like that but no one was trying to fix it. There was a stained bed sheet by laundry room in the hall. Not hotels fault but someone should have not let it sit for an entire night. Lastly, hall by rooms 130s smelt like animal urine. If guests are extended they should clean after themselves. "Convenient location to University of Rochester"

"The Spark property is seemingly brand new and beautiful. The room was spacious, bed very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom excellent. The bathtub was larger than most, and clean. Breakfast offered choices and was very good. Location was safe with ample parking. All in all, the hotel far exceeded our expectations, especially for the modest cost."

"The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Didnt really like how they had it set up. It seemed very compact and if there was more than a handful of people it would be crowded. All employees we encountered were super friendly. Would definitely stay there again."

"Staff was very friendly upon arrival. Clean and comfortable. There were two things only that I have to comment: First night was very loud at the room next to us, people were yelling and making loud noise from midnight till 3:00am. Then around 6:00am we could smell what the kitchen was cooking, bacon, eggs etc! I do not know if it was because we were in the first floor and closed to the restaurant but the smell was so intense that at that woke us up ! "

"Especially if you have a student that attends Nazareth University, the hotel is less 15 min from Rochester Airport and less than 10 min from campus. Many food places to eat. Gas station right across the street. Less than 5 min from Highway for other local things to do. Breakfast is the same but they serve everyday. Staff is friendly. They do have a mini mart."

"I used to really like RedRoof. This is now a whole different chain. The only good thing was that they allow dogs. I prepaid our room, so I could not cancel our reservation. My list of complaints is endless, including mildew in the bathroom, tub that didn't drain, no trash can, a refrigerator that was a freezer and ruined our food... The bed was comfortable, that's where it ends. Sorry, but I would never recommend this motel!"
