"Hygiene: There were cockroaches in the room—and not just one. This is completely unacceptable. Check-in: Despite informing the hotel multiple times in advance about our late-night arrival, there was a "Back in 10 minutes" sign at the front desk when we arrived. We were exhausted from our flight and just wanted to rest, so the poor reception was very frustrating. Housekeeping: We were given only one large bath towel per person. Even though we requested fresh towels daily, they were only...

"Affordable place in Singapore, but not meeting it's potential. The rooms are not as new or clean as shown in the photos. When we arrived, the inside of the microwave was not cleaned and was giving a foul stench. The staff was quite friendly and helpful and they cleaned it up once we informed. They also let us store our luggage early in the morning until our check-in time so that we can go out sightseeing. Overall stay was ok since we mainly just slept there and spent most of the time outside...

"Having no windows really gives a good sleep. However the room was clean but the washroom is where nightmare begin. The mildew on the caulking, and the little tiny fruit flies flying everywhere from the drain. There was a strong smell of urine in the washroom. Just couldn’t get rid of it. The washroom was something to be desired for something way better. But the room was cozy, the air conditioning good, the bed was cozy and pillows I had a great sleep. Wasn’t there very long but amenities were...

"The location is good (next to Rochor MRT) and right across Sim Lim. The wall was super thin. For almost every night I was there, even in the morning, I could hear loud noises of people having s*x. Those noises also last for hours. I felt very uncomfortable, especially since I was a female solo traveler. The blanket and sheets were rough and uncomfortable. The room was dusty. I had to wipe the tables' surface with wet wipes. Washroom is okay."
