"Stayed several times at this wonderful hotel. Cost this stay was considerably higher than previously, which may merely be a reflection of price increases in the hotel industry generally. Still, something of a bitter pill.
Small issue - reservations made something of a point to get my accurate estimate of arrival time for the purpose of determining if an early check-in would be possible. I arrived following my transatlantic overnight flight when predicted, about two hours before 3 p.m....

"From our welcome by very kind uniformed doormen to our early and thorough check-in by front-desk staff, until our final departure we were treated in the most respectful manner.
The décor was beyond gorgeous, with a variety of textures and colors that were delightfully pleasing. The rooms were exquisite and one of the finest that we have ever experienced! While it is expensive, it paid dividends in comfort, convenience, and high quality."

"Beautiful new hotel in the perfect London Mayfair location still close to Trafalgar, Soho. No nice grand entry, breakfast restaurant so so, rooftop bar neat. Biggest downside is so many rooms that just look out into another room very close by so we tended to just leave drapes shut for privacy which just feels wrong for a $2000 room"
