"Staff very friendly, restaurants are very good. But buffet is not great, always the same menu. The rooms are very far from the buffets. Not much happening around the pool, not even tv for the World Cup. Other all inclusive I stayed at have little snack bars around the property and by the pool and always cooked something next to the pool. Not the staff issue, they get five stars"

Disappointed when we checked in for a five night stay were told we could only eat at the restaurants 2 of our nights. Not that the reservations were full but we were only allowed 2 dinner meals at their restaurants. The rest would have to be buffets. This was never mentioned anywhere when I booked. Buffets were decent. Ate at the Caribe buffet our last night....

The hotel staff repeatedly made it difficult for family members and friends to enter the property to pick us up, even when they were using personal vehicles and not operating as a transportation service. Instead of allowing convenient pickup, we were required to walk to the entrance with our luggage. What was most concerning was the consistent pressure to use...

"The property is right on the beach! We were unable to get in the water and use a lot of the amenities, like paddle boards, due to the sargassum (which is on every beach in the Riviera Maya). The restaurant staff were very attentive and the breakfast was good. They made us a to go meal on our last day. There is no other choice for meals in the area, so you need a car if you want to eat elsewhere. Taxis were $400-450 Mex pesos for a one way ride to the nearest village. You get 1 bottle of water...

"We had a wonderful stay at El Dorado Seaside Palms. We had a swim up room and greatly enjoyed it! The pool was wonderful, clean, cool, and we enjoyed the swim up bar. The property is beautiful and lush and well taken care of. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food was delicious. I highly recommend room service breakfast for a nice slow start to your morning. We would visit again."
