The steak at the Italian restaurant was like a Salisbury steak with the consistency of heavy jello. We had to upgrade the premier dining options to access halfway edible food. Drinks were fine, and the staff was friendly with good service. At over $600 per night, I expect decent food. "

The room had a noticeable old smell, which might be unpleasant for people who are sensitive to odors. "We loved our stay at Serenity Glamping. Our accommodation was the "Lodge" which has a kitchenette and 3 bedrooms. I recommend the Lodge because the restaurant on site is VERY expensive so it is nice to be able to have your own food/drinks at your site. The Lodge was very private and wonderful! Only steps away from the beautiful XpuHa beach. :) "

"The property is nice, the staff is super friendly, and its close to xcaret! The only thing that I would point out is that the pillows could be better, and the shower. The water flow shuts off after some time and it makes you have to turn back the knobs and turn it back on. Other than that, this hotel is okay. "

"I am really not sure why/how this hotel is rated exceptional, but it is far from it! It is totally outdated and bathroom is terrible. The hotel was deserted (not sure why), the beach was small and rocky; TV didn’t work and is a super small; AC either blasted high or low and the controls didn’t work. Even despite being given the best room in hotel, these were issues. Saving grace was view of ocean from room, but low value for the high price! Disappointed!!"
