If anyone else is wondering as I did if the round dining table is a good size for working on a computer, there’s plenty of space for 1. I preferred sitting by the window there so just moved the desk chair. Super easy to walk around the castle to get places, and a Sainsburys is a block away. Felt safe at night to walk back. "Loved this hotel. It was a great location, walkable to everywhere. Staff was great and accommodating. Although, we didn’t eat breakfast there, the spread looked amazing every morning. If we return to Edinburgh, we would definitely stay there again. The hotel was recommended by a family member that stayed there and they were right, great hotel."
