"A good place to stay in Funchal away from the centre. The pool is very nice & the buffet breakfast has a lot of options. The beds are hard but this seems typical of Madeira. Our room was a bit untidy but again we had experienced this elsewhere too. The staff don’t really share a lot of information for example you can’t open your balcony door as it shuts off the air-conditioning or you need your key to actually exit the garage on checkout or you’re trapped in the garage. "Check in was smooth, room was spacious and clean. Hotel nicely located near boardwalk. Nice view from balcony. Supper buffet was Latin themed and very, very good, as was the breakfast buffet. Underground parking € was convenient. I would definitely stay again. "

"Our second time staying here, love the space which you get with an apartment with excellent bathroom facilities. The pool area is great with plenty of plants and grass to break up the sun beds. "The room we were allocated was spacious (living room with well equipped kitchen unit, bedroom, bath and terrace). All well furnished and equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast and dinner were good. The grounds surrounding are mature and beautifully kept. The swimming pools and bars are very relaxing. Indoor pool and gym also. Musical entertainment every evening in a relaxed setting with the bar."
