"Absolutely great place for families . Ages 9, 5 and 4 all had a great time . So many activities for the kids and the water park was great . The food and service was great at the Mexican and Asian restaurant . The entertainment was absolutely great. Sebastian at the pool bar was probably one of our favorite people there . Erika as our family concierge was great as well . Down side : the ac in the room and restaurants was never cool enough . Poolside service was slow at times . Also first couple of days not enough staff at pool side and it almost seemed like they would ignore / avoid us. Pool side restaurant food was slightly lacking in flavor."

"We had a wonderful vacation, and the property was nice. The staff were helpful and attentive. Food was quite good, particularly the Italian concept. The pool area is tight, and although we were there on a lower attendance time, I could imagine it being tough to find room. Overall, the experience was good. Playa Del Carmen is its own thing... like most Mexican/ Caribbean spots, the vendors are aggressive almost to the point of seeming threatening, but things are very mellow on property, and they genuinely try to make your stay social. Very nice for a long weekend, but probably not suited for extended stays, unless you intend to do excursions. Recommended."

"My boyfriend paid for several additional room add ons and those items were not provided. Do not pay to upgrade your steak to premium meat because it’s not worth it. The chefs don’t know what medium of medium well is apparently. The elevators didn’t work. The pool with swim up bar was ok, but the service was better at the pool downstairs"

"Me and my wife just travelled to this resort for our honeymoon. This trip was by far the best trip both of us have been on due to the resort. Everything was amazing and looked even better than the pictures!! The only two things we would have liked to have been a little bit better was the reservations for dinner. A lot of them on the day we arrived were already booked a couple days out. Also the beach was not ideal due to the sea weed but we understood that was not an issue the resort can control. Other than that everything else was perfect and we were for sure be returning."

"As soon as you get to the property you will get a person talk to you about " the 90 minutes talk" if you say yes they will become your concierge. IF YOU SAY NO!!! YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN!!! we tried to get reservations for the restaurant only to be told that they had a problem with the system and cannot book anything!! Everything is blocked!!!! They will tell you to come back the next day.... the coconut that you see in the picture are not free. LAS CUEVAS restaurant is not open. Its a beautiful place for pictures."
