I really enjoyed the property. The pool is very nice and big. Well maintained, plenty of loungers and also tables with chairs. There are activities to do throughout the day. Although the beach is across the street it is easily accessible and quite nice with chairs, loungers, hammocks and spots you can rent. The beach has great places to swim and snorkle. It is not a walkout beach though, you enter the water by a ladder. The rooms are okay. A little dated but I didn't spend much time in the room. After this I really don't have much positive to say. The food was okay, not a lot of variety. One main restaurant, buffet. We were told on numerous occasions that they were out of something. There is another restaurant only open a couple of days during the week. You need a reservation, but they fill up quickly. The service we experienced was the worst I ever had, anywhere. There were 2 good bartenders though, Trinidad and Daniel. During each meal, it was nearly impossible to get a drink or salt and pepper. We were hardly acknowledged. Our housekeeping staff never left us clean towels. On the several occasions we called the front desk for towels, we still never got them. Despite the negative experiences, we met so many great people that we made fast friends with making the trip definitely worthwhile. Overall I did enjoy my vacation but I know that I will not come back to this property.
