"Basics in room (bedside light, air conditioning) didn't work. Shower was awful, a mere trickle of water. Omly one flannel provided when there were 2 of us. Bedside table the size of a playing card. Lighting horrible, either off or blazing bright., no dimmers. Restaurant food mediocre and drink prices high. Room layout bsdly designed with not enough space to put stuff and pointless 'office' area which served no useful purpose. Not enough sockets in the room. Iron was cheap and nasty. ...

It had a quiet energy about it; meaning the property was quiet considering its location on the crossroads of two main roads and the bar and beer garden being lively but not overly boisterous.
