"Room was great but customer service was a huge let down.
The parking and entrance was closed due to an event at excel and this was not communicated to us prior to arrival. We were left circling around for a long time trying to call the hotel. The front desk was unreachable and the marriot international service was not aware that there were closures at the entrance so could not guide us.
After 30 minutes of driving around, we were told to park at the ExCel car park"

"Hotel is in need of desperate upgrade, but I guess it is a well used venue. My room was functional but small and luckily stayed at the beginning of summer, could not see that any heating worked. Bathroom was ok but again needed upgrade on amenities, final day shower ran cold so no hot water!"
