"I can’t stress enough that this is an airport hotel… clean, friendly staff, restaurant on premises, but no frills. If you want a last “Edinburgh” experience on your last night, this is not the hotel for you unless you take transportation somewhere else. It is great for the purpose of getting to and from the airport because you are there. There is nothing of interest to walk to that we could see. There is a free shuttle bus to the terminals every 15 minutes which was easy. Part of me wishes...

"The room was very spacious, especially as I had an unplanned injury before attending which resulted in my requiring a wheelchair. Despite the cleaners entering the room every day minus 1 where we chose not to have it cleaned, the room was not cleaned at all. Beds were always remade but that was it. No fresh toilet rolls, towels, water or tea/coffee. Just beds remade. The bar was lacking beer the whole time we were there and the breakfast was not a £15pp worth of food quality or quantity. "Nice clean room, in great location. Mostly staff were helpful apart from the time I waited five minutes to be served and the waitress then served the lady who just came in and totally ignored me. Food was excellent value for money. Overall a good visit and would definitely go back."

"Nice hotel with a great location near Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline Abbey, the park and other businesses. Nice staff and good restaurant. The rooms were fine but a person has to understand older hotels don't have elevators in many instances, so plan for that."

"It’s an older hotel, the other side of the bridge from Edinburgh so cheaper by miles. It’s decent with plenty of parking. Bar is open 24 hours in the foyer. Breakfast was decent hot and cold buffet style. Would stay again."
