"Throughly enjoyed our stay as a family with our dog! Staff were super friendly and so helpful and inviting. The location is great with a beautiful view of the lake. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and would definitely recommend and the breakfast was really tasty. Beds really comfortable and clean! Room has everything you need. Will be back for sure!"

"First, the positive: terrific location. Steps from the station. No response through their Expedia or direct messaging link, so we called directly. We were told we'd receive a check-in code. Received it right at 3, so find wi-fi or make sure you have data - and don't plan for an even slightly early check-in if you're arriving by train (as most do). A company across the street rents storage lockers. Good price, friendly owner. Very small room. No closet. TV is the size of a small computer...

"Lovely property close to shops and restaurants in Bowness. Windermere also close but longer walking distance than Bowness. The parking at the back is definitely not for low car, even my standard A180 Merc has struggled a bit. Keep persisting with the shower, it takes a little to “learn” how to use it, leave the bathtub hot water running through the taps, it will eventually kick in the main shower. Felt the kitchen space was quite small and sometimes not very practical and an additional frying...
