"Staff were fantastic and my dad was given a wonderful welcome. The rooms and cleanliness and hospitality and warmth was outstanding. "The room was lovely and food in the restaurant exceptional. The bar was very understaffed and we waited quite a while to be served as no one was manning the bar, then waited again for drinks to be brought to our table."

"The staff were very attentive from arrival to departure. The breakfast buffet was very well organised and room was immaculate. We used the pool and even though the Health suite is in the process of a refurb it was all very clean."

"Loads of charm and nostalgia. Decent food. Some staff are friendly, some just do their job. This is a very old building with few upgrades. Our room was a bit musty, washroom was dingy and there are no fridges or AC is any of the rooms."

"Was placed in room 3, 2nd floor. Which had a double and single and sofa bed. Also had a small kitchen area with a fridge freezer. Bathroom had a bath with a shower. Shower was very powerful. Room was basic but clean and everything I needed for 2 nights. I was female staying on my own. Felt safe. The only let down I saw was the communal stairs reallyed needed a good vacuum. Carpark was large and plenty of space and free of charge."

"The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly picturesque. Our room was amazing, very spacious, spotless, and featuring a fantastic double shower which was a real highlight. The bar staff in particular were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which really added to the overall experience. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would happily return. The only thing that wasn't 5 stars is the food. It was still good, but it didn’t quite match the...
