"Stayed here with a friend and i will rate it a 7/10 .. cleanliness could be a better with receiving a semi dirty room. .. from my knowledge there’s no big breakfast but they provided muffins , coffee and lemon water . .. there’s a bar that’s supposed to open at 3 but it can opened at later times depending on the workers (the latest 6:45) and it closes at 9 .. staff was very nice , upgraded my room & places I can go near for either food/ toiletries or nightlife. I love the view with my balcony...

"Location was nice overlooking the harbor. Room was not clean. Told front desk staff and management and nothing was done about it. Long stringy blonde hair everywhere in showers on floor on covers. Toilet area not clean. No phone is room and management didn’t know why."

"We loved being in a private setting and close to everything in town at the same time. The porch was our favorite spot. It felt a little like being in a treehouse. Having two bedrooms was wonderful for my wife and I and our thirteen year old. Not a lot of negative to report. Parking was a challenge at times, but wouldn’t be a problem at all for someone from a city where parking in tight spots is the norm. I don’t think the place had an ice cream scoop(we made do with one of the big spoons),...

"Friendly staff. Called for taxis, recommended ding, etc. Booked 3 rooms for two nights a week apart. First night one room had no hot water. Second night all 3 rooms had hot water an all six travelers were happy. Restaurant on premises was very good. Breakfast included with room was limited but excellently prepared. Staff was quick and friendly. Excellent choice.Espesially considering the cost."

"The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! "

The WiFi barely works, and the TV doesn’t connect properly, which made it frustrating to relax in the room. "Great place to stay at end of trip however I couldn’t check in until after 5:30 I think because if a wedding. This ruined my evening as I was by myself . I got there at 3 and they said 4 at the latest - anywho I just needed sleep after being with family all week. The room was old but clean and I lived lived lived m view"

"The view is incredible. That is the last of my compliments. Hot water ran out after about 6 minutes. The power on the island went out almost every night which is terrible for someone who has to use a CPAP to sleep. It seemed as though all of the units around us had generators. If we had one it was never brought to our attention. We had no way to exit the compound because the gate would only open from the outside. This could be an issue if there is an emergency and you can't get out. We...
