"We had a fantastic stay at Smugglers Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The resort has a laid-back island vibe with beautiful beachfront views and plenty of space to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. "Sad to see the place is so run down, toilet doors by pool and restaurant that dont close nor have latches. Room cleaning is below average - face towels, cups and soap not replaced. Rubbish overflowing and not changed. Stones missing in outdoor shower floor. Gym had nothing to wipe or clean with. No pen present to sign in, no water fountain. Overall it is clear the resort is just thrashed and tired and many of the buildings need to be properly restored. Please forward this to owners. Staff...

"Don’t go expecting your standard cookie cutter resort experience! Relaxed vibe all round. Friendly staff, clean facilities. Outdoor ensuite bathrooms were great! Different dinner menu each day - with plenty of choice. No need to go off site for meals. Very family friendly. We found it easy to organise activities and getting around was simple. Nearest ATM supermarket 15 min drive up road."
