They tried to offer another room, but it was just as disappointing. Way over priced for the condition of the room."

"Great stay, lovely room and shower, love the little touches of snacks in the room as well as the usual tea and coffee. The hotel was so grand and service and food fantastic. We were there to celebrate the hotel’s 161 birthday on the 15 th May. We were offered bubbly and birthday cake. And had cupcakes delivered to our room to celebrate. Felt like a family atmosphere and we were part of it."

"Great location for sure and the modern minimalist lobby is very nice. Rooms are simple but nice and bed was comfy. However cleanliness wasn't up to par. We found receipts on the floor from the previous guests and there were cigaret butts on the tiny terrace and the sink could have used a little wash down as well. Which means either they didn't clean it between guests or did a rush job. Which is also disappointing given that we had to pay 40 pounds to check in early because we arrived at noon and check I. Wasn't until 3. We would've just left our bags and gone exploring but it was 15 pounds per item so with 3 suitcases it was cheaper to pay to check in early. It's like they rush to get the rooms ready in order to do the upcharge for early check in thing. Probably also why check out is 10am (or you can pay to get a later check out). Not cool Zedwell ...not cool."
