"Really a nice place to spend a couple of nights while enjoying London. The staff was freindly and helpful. We dined at the restaraunt and it was very good, especially our server. The bar was cozy and quiet, a nice place to enjoy a cocktail away from the bustle of the city."

"Great selections from buffet and from menu. We had a craving for a quiche when we arrived and they whipped up a couple of them. They weren’t on the menu, they just are that kind of hotel and staff. Unbelievable!"

"This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it could have been smoother. We weren’t given the room type we’d booked. It was sorted but trouble not needed. Would recommend not having a garden room as it’s much noisier. Terrace bar was lovely. "

"The penthouse had a sofa bed that had a horrible mattress and the bed made loud noises even with slight movement. Couldn’t sleep all night and woke up with backache and a headache. The lady at the front desk was rolling her eyes at the other guests. Not worth the money. Worst bed I have ever slept on, the view from the penthouse was also not good."

"Quiet hotel in otherwise busy area. Excellent staff and good management - every request was met with professionalism and courtesy. Interior not as plush or themed as the photos or name suggest, it's a fairly basic and rather dated pub hotel. Was clean and friendly. Breakfast included is good, carefully presented dishes. Pub has nice atmosphere in the morning and seats to look out of the window and plan your day. Room was rather hot, I don't know why but I asked for a fan and it helped but it was...

"Superb location. Holborn tube 3 mins, Covent Garden 5 mins. Straight rd to Euston walking 25 mins. Staff v helpful & pleasant. Fab room with everything thought of. Will definitely return. Our best London stay yet."
