"Excellent service from the moment we walked in through the time that we checked out. Property was beautiful and the lounge on the second floor was always well stocked with pastries and refreshments that were nice to have after coming back in from the city. Location was within walking distance of several major attractions, but also tucked away just enough to be on the quieter side. Would stay here again without hesitation."

"The staff were amazing, attentive, polite and just wonderful. The room was clean, comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom and shower was great. And refreshing, especially since NYC was having a heat wave. Reception provided bottles or water, complimentary. The bar was fun, and service and food delicious. We had breakfast each morning and it was amazing. You must try the multigrain bread. Fabulous! Overall 5/5 and we will gladly stay here again on our next NYC trip."

"My stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing overall. While there were a few positives, the property felt old, outdated, and lacked many of the amenities I would expect for the price. The hotel offered very limited food and beverage options, and there was no room service available, which was inconvenient during our stay. The property itself could benefit from updates and modernization. I do want to recognize the gentleman who checked us in, as he was very friendly and welcoming....

"Honestly best hotel I have ever stayed in! The smell in the lobby was so refreshing. The rooms were beyond clean, not even a little bit of dust in sight! I would 1000% stay again if I came back to NYC. And Times Square is right around the corner. You can see the red stairs from the front door of the hotel"

"There is a $30/night Resort Fee, for which you get a mediocre continental breakfast, wine in the lobby at 5 pm, and wifi. Someday these fees will be illegal, I hope. The soaps were from L'Occitane and smelled great. The staff was very nice. There are bathrobes in the closet and a safe. The sink drained too slowly and the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. Also, they should put nightlights in the bathrooms. The location was perfect for our purposes, short walking distance to MoMA and...
