"Voco in Astoria is a great place to stay. It’s less than a year old and the rooms are soundproof. Across from me was the subway track and I could barely hear it. It was probably one of of best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The restaurant serves dinner and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was amazing as well as the excellent Customer Service by the entire staff throughout the hotel. It’s a short walking distance to a subway entrance. I will definitely be returning there."

"The hotel reception staff were very welcoming and super helpful, and quick to respond when we required some maintenance help in our room. The room was clean, although a little dated, and could do with a slight modernisation. However, the staff kept the hotel very clean. The location was great- a 2min walk to the subway, so easy to get places quickly if we didn’t fancy a walk, and was a 10min walk to Central Park. There was also a good selection of restaurants nearby as well as bakeries, bars...

"Great location, clean rooms and helpful staff. Rooms are very small, slightly larger than a cruise ship cabin, but it is New York. The bathrooms are also very tiny and tight. The bathrooms also have opaque glass on the sliding door that opens right onto the King Bed, which woke my wife up when I would get up to run in the morning.
