"Welcoming and helpful staff upon checkin and the next morning. Large very clean well appointed room. Very quiet on first floor. Lovely continental breakfast. All areas of the hotel very well kept. Lift to rooms after a set of stairs. Some guests may need help getting their luggage up these. Drinks, snacks, souvenirs available to purchase. You definitely need a taxi to get here from the airport."

"Great place to stay in town. Center of everything and I’m front of the ferries. Stayed there twice during my time in Papeete. Got the cabin bunk for a solo traveler no complaints communal showers outside that separates men and woman. Easy place for easy travelers. "

"We recently stayed at this resort and had a mixed experience. The positives were definitely the friendly and welcoming staff, who were always pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The beachfront location was beautiful, and having both a beach and a pool gave us plenty of options for relaxing. The happy hour was excellent and something we looked forward to each day. "One night stay. Staff smiling and useful except the restaurant manager who needs to learn about customer service. Property ground could be more manicured, and our room was clean but the shower was leaking. The hotel doesn’t provide airport shuttle but will reserve a taxi for you."

"Initially upon arriving, the hotel informed that they didn;t have a reservation for us. I showed them the Expedia resevation confirmation, but the hotel stated it was never sent to them. After alot of frustration, they found us a room & then a couple hours later stated we could stay for the 2 nights as booked. Other than that, the stay was great. You are a little isolated unless you rent a car. Not alot of things to walk to & the main street has alot of traffic. You would have to get taxis...

"Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun."

"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. Recommendations were suggested by hotel staff, with a mobile pizza stand just next door. If arriving late at night and travelling alone, you won't have...

"We loved this lodge! It has an incredible view from the balcony. We had the entire upstairs available to us, but only needed one of the two bedrooms, the bathroom & the use of the kettle & refrigerator. We had all we needed & more! The owner is very nice & she took great care of us while we were there. Highly recommend the TeMana Lodge!"
