"The innkeeper was incredible. He was great at communication, and super nice. He sent over instructions to find the inn, and parking ahead of time. He was there to welcome us when we checked in, and offered to help with our luggage. Our room was clean, well decorated and beautiful. We were surrounded by a lot of antiques. Richards' house has a unique character that transports visitors back to the late 1800s or early 1900s. They've done a wonderful job preserving the place and adding modern amenities that blend seamlessly, making the experience both charming and comfortable."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay celebrating our 15th anniversary in Mason City. Well designed old home with winding staircase. Breakfast was delicious and could accommodate vegetarian diet. Very comfortable bed. And the home is in great location- enjoyed visiting music man square and museum very nearby. I tried booking directly with the owner but had trouble connecting so ended up booking through this third party vendor, which ended up working fine."
