"Our meet and greet was great! And the place is a very nice looking Mansion. But entering the room it was hot to both of us. We started the small window AC in the living room and the vented stand along AC in the bedroom. It took quite a while to cool off. We decided to take a Jacuzzi bath and not only did it not work, we made ourselves even more hot. I went to shave and the bathroom sink is " clogged" not just slowly draining as I could run hot water very long before it was full. Unfortunately...

"I first want to say the owners are very nice. I do think they wanted us to feel comfortable and welcome. The house is old and beautiful, my curiosity of growing up near this property made me want to stay here instead of Hampton Inn. The access to the living and dining room was appealing because my family still lives in keokuk and we don’t have anywhere big enough to relax and visit together. "The main home was built in1898. We stayed in Linwood's View Suite in the Carriage House. It was on the second floor. Beautiful architecture remodeled to the period. Very nicely done. Would definitely stay here again. Barb was very pleasant and cooked us a wonderful breakfast. "
