"Great customer service from reception team"

"We were a little disappointed based on the description of this "5-star" hotel. The location was convenient and overall the hotel was fairly quiet during our stay. The flooring in the room was carpet and looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned in years, so we opted to keep our shoes on when we walked around in the room. The bed also felt like it saw better days. The decor tried to compensate for some of the design choices in the room, but was lazy in installation - we couldn't even use the outlets near the bedside tables because the tight spacing and the bed trim was attached to the wrapped dressers. The stay was okay, but not the 5 star hotel experience this place was described as."

"Outstanding hotel in every respect. Room service food is unusually high standard!"

"Got there at 1:30pm, room not available. Understandable, website quotes 3:00 check-in. Returned at 3, room still not available. Was offered room in basement. Did not want this. Was given other room on first floor. Took this. The "Roost" room was very small. Could barely fit 2 suitcases on the floor. Hot water did not work. Told to go to another room to take a shower. Next morning we had to pack up leave luggage in hotel storage. Pay for coffee station did not work. Returned from touring and got new room. Hot water worked. On-line keys did not work. Was given key card. Asked for "do not disturb" hanger. Told there were all out and they were in process of ordering more. No TV remote in room. Had to request one. Next morning, pay for coffee station still not working. In-room coffee machine did not work."

"This my 3rd time back to the Montana Hotel over a course of 15 years. It is definitely an older hotel but well maintain, has an old little elevator and lots of twists and turns. Very clean, with a lovely Indian restaurant attached to it where breakfast is available in the mornings, with attentive staff. This hotel is all about location, location, location, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum are all with in a few blocks and Kensington Palace is also within walking distance. The Gloucester St. Tube Station is half a block away with 3 lines. This area has lots of history and the hotel is a lovely part of the history. I will definitely be back for trip No. 4 at this wi fearful little hotel."

"This hotel is wonderfully situated across from a tube station & there is a "Gails Bakery" across the street as well as a pub & several restaurants within a few blocks. The staff were very helpful & professional. We were happy with the comfort of our bed & the shower was great! We would definitely stay here again."
