"Ibis did not provide breakfast on day 1 and we had to go next door to the sister hotel Mercure. Following day Ibis was supposed to provide breakfast but when we went down tables hadn't been cleared and there was little food. We were told there was a problem with the kitchen and we had to go next door again to the Mercure. That night we went to the bar and it was covered in dirty glasses and the girl behind the bar was barely coping. They seem to have a shortage of staff or at the very least issues."

"Hotel itself very good. Parking a bit hit & miss. Breakfast good, but no teaspoons anywhere. Reception staff kept overcharging for breakfast, guests need to watch out for this."

"Good location and room clean and comfortable. Pillows a bit flat though so that could be improved on. We didn’t have a great night sleep as there was some sort of fan on the other side of the wall (room 5) that came on every 20 minutes or so and was quite noisy. Also noise from the pub and street outside went on quite late but we kind of expected that due to location. "

"We had a really lovely time in the Spa and pool prior to our check in. Our room was great with a view over the golf course. We had a few drinks in the bar and a several games of pool. We extended our checkout to 12 noon, which cost an extra £20 which was expensive, but worth it to us. Overall a really great stay and we would go back for sure."
