"Oh yes everything great "

"We had a two-night stay in the beach house. While the room itself was acceptable, on closer inspection the bathroom did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. In general, the attention to cleanliness in the main areas of the hotel also seemed lacking. During our stay, we experienced a few maintenance issues. The hot tap in the outdoor bath leaked when in use, and in the room both the TV and lamps flickered intermittently. Although breakfast was included, I was disappointed to learn it was served...

"The room was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed, bathroom was also spotless and again had everything needed The staff are friendly and made us feel welcomed from arrival. The only thing that could be made better would be an addition of a full drench shower because there was certainly room for one"

"The breakfast was lovely, staff very helpful, hard working and courteous. However my only complaint the breakfast plates were very small, i do understand some people will take more food then they need, but I found it difficut to eat my breakfast on such small plates."

"The property was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the fact that the cafe attached was both delicious and had outdoor seating was absolutely incredible… The only downside to our stay is that there was a huge youth field trip. The kids were probably about 10-13 years old and were terribly loud, running up and down the stairs, screaming and yelling in the hallways and the teachers didn’t do anything about it. "Bed too small, uncomfortable and pillows unsupportive. No proper curtain so privacy an issue. Tv was tiny and a brand I’d never heard of. There was a splattered dead fly on the pillow case. "

"Lovely property in an ideal location to walk and explore Whitby. Very clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen for cooking bits and pieces. Plenty of information of the surrounding areas and clear instructions regarding bins, parking, check in and heating. Brilliant communication from the hosts before stay. Would definitely recommend and visit again! "
