"Stunning property with excellent quality food and rooms. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The only issue was that the room and bed (standard double) were very small and hot. Couldnt kèep the window open thanks to the local boys racing up and down the seafront. We are not particularly big people but i can imagine that a larger couple would find the bed impossible to sleep in!"

"Flagged as a 5* hotel, but more like a 3* as no comparison with Eastbournes other 5* the Grand. An Impressive building on the seafront, and ok but some irritating things such as a 1900's lift! with concertina double doors that were very heavy to open/close. Fortunately the staff were alert to it and frequently helped out. Its Quaint but soon became annoying. Shame owners had let it get j to such a bad state. 1 lift only suitable for 1 1/2 persons only working lift in whole building for over a week no sign of maintenance being done."

"What a perfect place for a little getaway. Couldn't fault a thing, it was all spot on. Welcoming staff, excellent and generous breakfast included, super comfortable beds, great old bar and a lovely location. Highly recommended. "

"While the Tiger Inn pub is nicely located by the village inn and the staff were very helpful, the room was over priced for what it was - a nice room in a pub. To describe it as 'luxury' is somewhat misleading in my view. The food was good but nothing special, so again, certainly didnt justify the 'luxury' reference"

"Room was a little small and showing signs of ware and tare. Excellent breakfasts with fresh fruit salads, continental spread, hot food cooked to order and tasty. I did not try the lunch or dinner but I noticed a lack of vegetarian options. I also did not try the indoor pool or gym. I had afternoon tea there which was a bit pricey and underwhelming."
