"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. "The hotel is in a lovely building, but the decor in our room was odd and dated - it needed a bit of tlc and updating in our opinion. Lovely views of the city and beyond. We wish the blinds/curtains had been black out, as it got quite light in the morning. The big light in our room flickered a lot, so we couldn’t use it. Free parking was great. The room was cleaned each day and had basic amenities - kettle with tea and coffee, ironing board and a safe in the wardrobe."

"Good sized room, we were surprised how roomy it was, place was clean but there is room for improvement. Breakfast was ok nothing special just avarage.
Paying extra for parking on the top is ridiculous especially the rate they charging.
Overall We would stay again: good facilities like spa and pool, lovely bar and nice staff."
