"The Dashwood is a heritage building and obviously would have many challenges to maintain a top notch accommodation site. Along with being exceptionally clean Dashwood also does a very good job of keeping the authenticity of the building while adding modern improvements with a heritage touch (ie. new soaker tub, sink and toilet fit the look of an old fashioned bathroom). "Selected this hotel because of advertised valet parking as I am partially disabled, only to find as I arrived that the "new owners haven't set up the insurance for valet parking yet". Luckily enough got a spot in the underground parking very close to elevator, but then my key card didn't work in the elevator to access my floor. Piggybacked on another guests card to get to my floor only to find out my key card didn't work for the room either!!!...Back down to lobby and the bellman Aiden helped to...

"The location of this hotel is the best! It is a solid 3 star property . The room was very small but had 2 queens so there was little room to move. Breakfast was good and not so good depending on what you selected. The selection was good."
