"Lovely property but hard to keep the gardens at their best with the current drought in Hampshire. Our room #3 was beautiful, good shower and bathroom, very comfortable bed. The outdoor seating area could use a clean up around the the apple tree but no doubt hard to do given the hot summer weather. The fish and chips was terrible. The full English breakfast was good. Overall a lovely stay. West Meon is a beautiful village. Unfortunate about all the drivers who race through the main road of the village. Almost got run over trying to cross the road. Maybe speed bumps could help."

"Lovely hotel to base yourself for peppa pig world. The pool was a bonus on arrival while waiting for dinner time. Changing facilities could have been cleaner, especially the floor. Breakfast had good choice. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Black out curtains helped with toddlers sleeping."

"The only fault was with the window insulation in room 502. The strip of insulation material had come away, so we were able to hear noise from outside. We forgot to report this to reception, so please forward this to the hotel. Thank you."

"Hotel full of character, undergoing renovation in places but improvements have been made since we were last there. Dinner service was very good and if the weather’s nice it has a lovely patio area out back for dinner and a drink. Shame the pool was closed though."

Good bar service Breakfast was good Rooms were ok, no amenties really, we had two bottles hand soap, nothing else. Luckily we did have a fan,"
