"My husband and I decided to stay the night at the Grand Amway Hotel in Grand Rapids to celebrate his birthday. We selected a room on the 24th floor. The room itself was average with a typical TV, desk, chair, and king sized bed. The dimmer lights were a nice touch. Unfortunately the bathroom was a huge disappointment. The water pressure from the sink was low and it took so long for the water to heat up. The toilet required flushing three times when just flushing toilet paper because the paper...

"This hotel is very clean, has a great breakfast and is ideally located right downtown within short walking distance of everything you'd want to do downtown (museums, restaurants, entertainment). It was our second time staying here, once as an adult couple and once with our child. The only negative things I have to say is that the pool area is not ideal. "The photos really didn't do this hotel justice - it's very attractive and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, the room was well-decorated and spacious, and the communal spaces were very nice. We were able to park right out front on the street and walk to many dinner and entertainment options. Be aware that not all rooms have windows, so if that's important to you, be sure to verify before reserving your room. We absolutely loved this hotel and will be back!"

"There were two TV’s neither worked, power went out several times during my stay!! Arrived on Saturday evening wasn’t able to get into another room until late afternoon the next day Sunday. Excuse was no maintenance on sight!! Hotel was booked so I couldn’t be moved into a more suitable room until Sunday. checked out Monday morning. So not a good experience"
