"Stayed one night with my family of 3. We loved the property and the experience. My only minor issue is that there was on off-odor from the AC. We would stay again when coming back to Kyoto."

"The rooms were small but clean and the large TV was nice. I liked that both the bathroom sink and shower had separate faucets.
I appreciated the large downstairs dining lounge area with free drinking water. "

"This hotel was perfect for our stay. Conveniently located - close to train, walkable to Gion and there is a fantastic coffee shop a block away (Goodman Coffee Roaster). The onsen in the hotel was amazing. Highly recommend and would stay here again."

"Wonderful hotel with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Public bath was great and a good spacious room. Very comfortable and close to area attractions and right on the path of the 50 bus from Kyoto Station."
"Very good service, clean and in good condition. No hooks in the bathroom, so where to put the wet towels? Travelling with a bigger suitcase is always a challenge in Japanese hotels."
"Outstanding hotel. I haven't been to all hotels in Kyoto but this hotel was by far the best one i have been to. Even though it is located in downtown Kyoto it has a very tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. It is quiet in the room which is good when you want to sleep. Breakfast is great and the lounge is nice. It is a good place where you can relax in the evenings.

"Clean big room. Location is perfect and close to two subway lines. Quiet street. Very good local restaurants scattered around the neighborhood with just few minutes walking."
