"Great place to stay. Food always amazing"

"I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked it for its reasonable price but it far exceeded expectations. We were visiting family in chester over Christmas, and there were no hotels available in the city centre, although this was a little far out the drive was very easy and quick parking was good and the hotel was clean and friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others."

"Ideally situated for us to get to the main attractions near by. Plenty of car parking spaces. Reception very helpful. My room was very spacious bed a bit on the hard side but there’s nothing like your own bed. Bathroom en-suite and both were immaculately clean. We ate at the hotel and that was also of a good standard. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Room was tidy but a bit worn in places, shower wasn’t very warm, property itself was a bit run down, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes on entry and through out the hotel, room was fresh though But the staff were lovely, breakfast was brilliant, out the way off the main road and quiet at night bed was very comfy! Stayed for a wedding reception, the event room was really nicely decorated and spacious! Bar a bit pricey though £5 pint of coke! "

"This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to help. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom which although clean needed a refurb as there was mould all over the ceiling, a crack in the sink, etc. "

"When we arrived on a Saturday late afternoon, it was like entering a nightclub. There was a wedding with an open DJ above the bar area. It was so loud you couldn’t easily hear the staff. When in our room, the music was booming through. We asked to move to another room and they were able to facilitate this. Staff were polite and helpful. The room itself was good; a small but functional bathroom, very comfy bed and good blackout blinds. The window needed a lot of adjustment to close it which took...

"Staff were very nice but the arrival registration at 3pm was very slow due to large line of customers. Room very nice, upgrade but looking out onto a wall and air conditioner yard. Not very happy with that. Website showed gardens. Also lighting very dull."
