"Stayed for one night, which happened to be the hottest night of the year. Not the hotels fault, but the window in the room would not open. Hotel did supply fans but made little difference. Major issue was after a night in a 30 degree room there was no water for a shower, or the toilet. "Visiting family in Reading so location was perfect. Plenty of parking and free of charge. Room was basic, clean apart from dust on bed frame and dressing table. Lovely clean white bed sheets and big white fluffy bath towels. Plug hole on sink and bath needed a good scrub. Reported to reception that the shower water was not flowing away very well and also when boiling the kettle steam was escaping onto the handle. Husband had breakfast, plenty of choice and good quality. We paid £55 in total...
