"We knowingly booked a small room. The room itself was clean and decent enough. It was an extremely hot day so could have done with A/C or at least a better fan than that provided. The bathroom was too tiny to be practical. There was no shelf in the tiny shower and there was not enough room to bend down and pick shower gel off the floor. Overall the price was very reasonable so we were not expecting the world. Staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable."

"The staff were amazing from the front desk Darcy and mum to the night porter, who could not do enough for us brilliant. Would recommend to all ages and jealous that we’re not still there. Carnival was great; only thing is if you’re down for this event next year, find parking first early, as it’s at a premiere. Massive shout out again to all. 👍😘"

"Location is perfect for the beach and walking distance to restaurants. Parking is horendous. The lift didn't work when we visited, which was not ideal for 4 people with health and mobility issues, we were on the 2nd floor. The staires are quite rickety and winding. There wasn't air conditioning, but they did provide a fan. Our toilet seat was broken, we did report it, but was told it was a bank holiday weekend so nothing could be done. "The hotel was clean and comfortable. On arrival, I was made to feel welcome and the hotel policies explained in a friendly manner including the WiFi password. The room was cleaned during my stay and there were complimentary amenities left in reception for guests outside of normal hours . This was a nice touch to be able to get extra milk for coffee late at night. Lovely friendly staff ,and great security . The location of the property is excellent. I would return again ."

"I don’t recommend this hotel. Its only positive qualitiy is location. The first room we were given (3rd floor, lift out of order) smelt of stale tobacco smoke (despite 'no smoking' signs). We asked to change. The next room had an unwashed bathroom floor. The 3rd was small but we took it because it was cleaner and had a better view. When I noticed there was only one bath towel, I went down to speak to the male receptionist. I collected the extra towel from his office but the teabags he agreed to...

"Very spacious room, clean and comfortable. Need a shelf of some kind in shower for shower gel etc, made showering a bit tricky. Could also do with fans in room when hot weather. Building looking a bit tired but super location and clean. Would definitely stay again. Fridge in room was a bonus in the hot weather."

Dirty walls, dirty shower and bathroom, toe nail clippings on bedroom floor. Towels on every bed but 2 with stains. Floors uneven and creak. No chain on door.
