The waitstaff was always very friendly and kept the drinks flowing… shoutout to Genaro who was so friendly and always went the extra mile for us. There’s so many activities offered throughout the day and Carlos and Roberto made everything so so fun. This was our second time at this resort and it won’t be our last!"

"The ac seemed to have a mind of its own, but it was adequate. The property was located on 5th Avenue which consisted of shops selling, all the same tourist junk, beachware and restaurants. All may be attractive to younger people, but not us . The staff were so wonderful and friendly. Yes we wold definitely stay again. "

"This was a wonderful place to stay. If you are looking for a High-End Tourist Experience, this is not it. It's a basic CLEAN hotel. However, it had what many hotels lack: a friendly atmosphere that made it seem like home. Whether coming or going, the staff always gave me a friendly smile & asked if I needed anything. I really didn't want to leave! Quiet is HIGH on my list and it was great. I also enjoyed the fact that the street was a nice, normal street and not filled with roaming drunk...

"We loved our stay! The linens towels and amenities were top quality everything was very clean and well designed the underground parking takes away all of the issues with parking around the city. Our only issues were the hot tub wasn’t hot and the apartment suite needed more dishes. The staff was lovely and helpful. We would definitely stay again. "

"We had a great vacation during Christmas 2025 at Viva Maya. Large buffet with lots of different options, and when the buffet was closed they have a kitchen by the pool. Make sure to make reservations for the A La Carte restaurants right when you arrive for the rest of your stay, you will not get in same day or even 1 day before. The mexican restaurant and staff there were so much fun. The staff that stood out for us were Jose Luis at Cafe Maya, which has the best coffee, frappes, and...
