"It's an absolutely beautiful historic Japanese home in a relatively quiet neighborhood. It's a great way to escape the business of the bigger cities for a couple days. Check in was easy and friendly. The train station is only a 5 minute walk away and they have a Family Mart about a 5-10 minute walk away. The beach is also only a 10-15 walk away so this is a very conveniently located hotel. It is a traditional Japanese home though so don't expect comfy king size beds, tvs, couches or much...

"Hotel Metropolitan was wonderful to stay in for our 2 week Japan trip. The staff were very polite and helpful. The refurbishment they have had is wonderful, the bed was very comfortable, the room was a good size and it was everything we needed. It was helpful that there was a Muji restaurant connected with out hotel as it meant we could easily have a buffet breakfast. The location was great and we had a wonderful time."

"Amazing spot. Close to the train, close to the beach, the food is amazing and there’s several great restaurants on the same block. The in-house onsen and laundry was clutch for me and my toddler. The afternoon snacks were a favorite of the the toddler, lol. It’s clean, bright, spacious and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again. "

"We had a great stay at this 100-year-old Japanese home. The mix of traditional architecture and modern updates was impressive, and the house was clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Tadao, the host was very responsive and made communication a pleasure. We only wished we had booked a longer stay. Would definitely recommend a relaxing stay directly across the rd from the beach. "Casablanca Pool House was an absolute incredible experience they’re so kind and accommodating, the house is so clean upon arrival, having a private pool and outdoor tub is rare to find in Japan especially on a last minute booking ! "La maison est jolie de l'extérieur. Les parties communes sont sympa mais le mobilier est parfois très usé. Les sanitaires sont propres. Par contre, notre chambre et le lit étaient très petits, sans charme, mal insonorisée pour la chambre et moyennement propres (beaucoup de poussières sous le lit, un fil électrique qui traine en plein milieu et une couette jaunâtre). Ça va pour une nuit, mais pas plus. Point positif : le personnel est gentil."

"3連泊で江ノ島〜北鎌倉界隈をゆっくり回りました！立地もよく快適に過ごさせていただきました。　建物は古く床がミシミシ…それもまた内装のリノベがオシャレで素敵です。 女性専用の2段ベッドルームだったのですが仕切りカーテンがないタイプのゲストハウスは初めてで着替えや光の漏れなどほかの方への配慮面で少し戸惑いましたので評価4にさせていただきましたがベッドの構造上難しいのかなとも感じました。結果、意外と大丈夫でした！ タオル交換サービス無料でとてもありがたかったです。シャンプー類もオーガニック系で洗い心地もとても良かったです！タオルもシャンプー類も持っていかなくてよかったなって思いました。タオルもフワフワ吸収バッチリなやつでした。お水、コーヒーや紅茶なども自由に楽しめて快適です。ぜひ次回は地ビールも飲める時間にゆっくりしたいです！"
