"The Tahiti Pearl Resort is a wonderful place to stay, it is a quiet, clean and safe resort. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food was good and the service was excellent. "This hotel is located right across the street from the ferry terminal so it's super convenient if you're boarding a ship (such as the Paul Gauguin) or taking a ferry to Moorea (as we did), it's a great place to stay. "Great property, we only stayed for the day, had late night flight. Enjoyed the pool, beaches on site open to the public. The Restaurant was very good, great staff. The Negative was coming off cruise the hotel was not prepared to handle the customers that were checking out or checking in. They wanted to charge $90 for early check in before 2pm. "Pros: good location, clean, new. Cons: This is a very, very basic room. There was a desk, but no outlets to plug in a laptop, and no lights on or above the desk. No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator.
