Our overall experience at the hotel was great. The location is very central, close to the Metro, walkable to many attractions, lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were exceptional, went above and beyond to assist us and were extremely helpful. The balcony view from our room was beautiful with plenty of space to enjoy a drink. The room was small for two guests, but we were expecting that and were not bothered as we were out most of the time but unfortunately, the layout of the room was not functional and a bit dangerous. The one step going into the room was not noticeable whatsoever and we fell off the step the first few times upon entering the room. If the bed had not been so close to the entry to break our fall, we would have gotten hurt. Again, the step by the entry door was also close to the washroom door, which caused us to trip when exiting the toilet. There was no step going up to the balcony and it was difficult going in and out of the room without tripping on the door frame. The one cabinet in the bathroom vanity was loose, not mounted on any hinges, and fell every time we bumped into it. We enjoyed our stay and would return if a better laid out room was available next time.
