This is a boutique hotel in the 3rd arrondissement. The staff are always available and immediately helpful. There is an excellent optional breakfast daily. The Louvre , Notre Dame, Pompidou Centre , and Rue Montorgueil are walkable from this hotel and is situated in a neighborhood with many small shops and a wide array of casual dining options. Highly recommend.

One of the best hotel experiences I have had in so long. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my daughter and I felt safe, supported and comfortable (I am a single mom travelling alone with my 12 yr old daughter). Location clean, cute candy bar upon arrival and staff that were proactive with ensuring we were informed and had the best Parisian experience. Great central location for cafes, shopping and metro.

The shower was superb. If I come back to Paris I would stay here again. Location was excellent. The one thing I would suggest is upgrading the AC unit. It’s very loud in the evening. Staff were lovely and the hotel was quite quaint. We enjoyed our stay.

Very small hotel with very thin walls. You can hear literally everything happening in the rooms and stairs and elevator. The shower is set up in a way that water gets everywhere which is a pet peeve in particular so that probably made me more upset. The candy in the lobby is not complimentary although it also looks like it has been there for decades. The only positive aspects is the location but there are a lot of good hotels in this area as well.

We absolutely loved staying here! Everyone is friendly- it was nice coming back to familiar faces every night. The location is perfect, close to shops, food, and the metro. Lots of night life to people watch. The breakfast is a great option for mornings you just want sit somewhere quiet. We'll definitely be back!

If you prefer charm and history, this is the way. The rooms are intimate but efficient. We loved staring at the wood beams in bed and watching life unfold from the windows. Favor yourself by walking to Tout Autour du Pain for a croissant at 5:30 am. The streets will entirely be your own. The access to public transportation, restaurants and commerce on foot are unmatched. The narrow street lends itself pedestrian friendly with softened traffic, a respite from busier and robust corners. The hotel was always staffed as they hold your key as you come and go. One less thing to worry about and I do not miss a key card. I could not have asked for a better introduction to Le Marais than Hôtel Maison Saintonge.

Maison Saintonge does a lovely job of showing off the history of the building. The small details are all there in the design, exposed beams and all, and the rooms feel considered rather than styled. Mine was the junior suite, well appointed and spotless, with air conditioning that actually worked. The amenities and products provided were good quality throughout. There’s a lift too, which matters more than you’d think if you’re arriving with large suitcases. The staff were helpful but understated. You get a warm welcome rather than a hovering presence, which suited me. The location is very central with plenty happening in the surrounding streets. I didn’t have breakfast included but there are lots of places nearby to eat and drink. One note: this is a hotel for a solo traveller or a couple. Any more than that and the rooms would be a squeeze. And if you’re tall, watch your head on those beams.

Lille, mørkt værelse. Ekstrem lydt. Aircondition var slukket, da ejeren ikke ønskede at lade disse betjenes fra værelset. Således skulle man løbe ned i receptionen og låne en Remote hver gang man skulle tænde/slukke AC’en. Hotellet ser fint ud på facaden, men er ikke fint indeni. Samtidig er det alt for dyrt prissat. Kan ikke anbefales!

First time to Paris this location was outstanding. Only issue was that it was hottest record breaking week in Paris and they had us on 5th floor ac was not cold and could not sleep. Next day they moved us to floor 1 which was much cooler and gave us fans. breakfast cook called out 1 day and food was limited. They tried their best to adjust as things popped up. We booked last min so we paid 500-600 a night was is very exp for us. If you are paying the normal 200-300 a day it's fine just stay low floors if you can take the heat. Staff was very nice.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, and in a really charming and old building; the bed was extremely comfortable with very nice bedding, and room service/ cleaning doing a great job. However,I really struggled to see how this is a 4 star hotel: all the rooms could do with a bit of TLC (bathroom hooks were all loose; sign of wear and tear). The reception staff were friendly/ok but not exactly forthcoming. The breakfast was OK, but for €25 quite expensive (the fruit salad was not fresh, in which case I don't think it should be offered).

Great location. Cute decor. Wonderful staff. My only challenge was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. You might as well be sharing a room as you could hear every word.
