"Problem is, we were not notified of construction. Would have been fine, but our room was literally right next to where they were working on it, so at 7 o’clock in the morning they were banging on pipes. Then got up to go use the restroom, and our window was open a little bit, and the workers were literally right there. Also, had my do not disturb on the door, yet room service knocked on our door at 8 am."

"Great location, right next to the Chinatown gate. The area feels safe, and the staff is very friendly. The room is spacious and comfortable. We didn't use the gym, but it's nice to have one available."

"The staff was excellent - so friendly and kind. Breakfast had homemade pastries! Loved the 24/7 access to Numi tea and quality coffee. Very comfortable bed, though it seemed to be more full size than queen size. Charming inn."

"Hotel G is centrally located. It is very convenient to walk to so many coffee cafe, restaurants and shops in Union Square. The room is quite spacious and comfortable. We had a great experience."

"This hotel is what I expect from a high-end hotel; every detail considered, all staff attentive and knowledgeable. The food was excellent in the MKT restaurant, and the little snacks near the front desk were an unexpected delight. The room was spacious, bed very comfortable, bathroom well appointed, and the climate control excellent. My one complaint was that the televisions could be modernized, but we were informed there is a project under way to do just that. In the meantime we were provided...

"Everything is good.."

"The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very helpful"

"Very convenient to many restaurants. Downtown and Emarcadero tourist areas are walkable. Generally felt safe in hotel. We'll kept and clean, with a simple older motor lodge vibe. Good value."
