"I just needed a place to sleep, and this property served that purpose. The room was basic, and the bed was comfortable. It is an older property but it was clean. The woman who helped me at the desk (who I think is the owner) was MOST helpful and very friendly. I was traveling alone and she made me feel safe. The location is also amazing. A quick walk across the bridge and you are in historic St. Augustine. Overall, a good hotel for the price."

"The breakfast was wonderful and was one of the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the evening reception was very disappointing. The snacks appeared to be stale and tasted like leftovers from the Fourth of July holiday, which was not what I expected. I have stayed at many Embassy Suites locations, and because this is marketed as an upscale resort, I expected a much higher standard. The evening reception fell far short of those expectations. Our experience at the Rhum Bar was also very poor....

"We booked this hotel because it is pet friendly. Our room was clean and perfect for our dogs because there was no carpet-a plus in pup world. There is plenty of green grass areas to walk dogs and baggies are provided. The front desk staff was helpful and pleasant. We did have a problem with the toilet not flushing correctly but it was handled quickly. We will definitely stay again."
