The staff is wonderful, the place is dated but clean. Its in a good location for walking in Old Town. Do not get a "suite" or any other room with an open window or balcony if you want to sleep at all. Also dont plan to enjoy a shower unless you like corner micro showers circa 1970's mobile home. ...

AVOID!!! On arrival after flying all day we arrived at 4:00 pm which is room check in time. El Colonial - Adults Only
The room was not clean nor well maintained. Specifically, the bathroom light had months of dust and grime, chipped paint, pencil marks on the wall.
